Altar 'Tweeting'

{via here::special thanx}

My hope is that this is one of those staged routines that today's bridal couples are adding {perhaps to shock/amuse their guests and/or get their fifteen minutes of viral fame} to their nuptial routine.  It would be difficult to believe that,  for at least twenty to thirty minutes, we can't put 'it' away.  Besides, shouldn't all of the people who matter be sitting in a pew?
Ahhhh....the power of social media.
What do you think?  Should they or their guests be 'twittering' about this joyous occasion?

Spread the Love...

{via here::special thanx}

Because of RSS feeds, the news you want to read about comes right to your inbox.

Your fav 5 {or 6, or 7, etc...)  can be delivered directedly into your inbox!  I found this social media chart, constructed by Chris Watson and wanted to share it with you.  "What's so great about this mass entanglement of confusing information?  Chris points out 30 free websites that allow you to share your content and, in turn, have your community  reciprocating the love....You said you waited to know how to reach your audience!

He writes, "This visualization was made to inform on how easily and effectively you can use the web to build an online presence through free sites, feeds and monitor progress." Yes!! While the use of social media as a marketing tool, may be new for some of you, this diagram will aide you in  taking the steps to learn about social media in general and how your own community can help share your stories and help extend your brand!

... I learned from Scoopville...

        Scoopville is a tasty example of how social media networks afford small- and mid-sized companies opportunities to attract, retain and build a firm client base...while successfully establishing a strong brand presence.

Why Do I Need to be Involved in Social Media Networks?

{via here::special thanks}

People love to share their experiences, passions and memories with like-minded people. Social media platforms provide the perfect conduit for creating those connections. Thirty four percent of on-line users post their comments/opinions about a product and/brand on a social media platform. Thirty six percent of on-line users think more positively about business that have are present and visible on a social media platform. What all of this amounts to is, even if business owners do not fully understand the concept of social media, we need to fully understand that our companies are no longer totally in control of what is being said about us. This being said, businesses need to plan a strategy around social media networks that involves their active engagement and participation.

Businesses need to be “PART OF THE CONVERSATION"
